Problem: – In the construction of a residential building, located in close proximity to a water body, the client faced significant concerns regarding water leakage and seepage. These issues posed a threat to the structural integrity and future habitability of the building. To address this challenge, our team devised a strategic solution aimed at halting water ingress and ensuring the longevity of the structure.
Solution: – To combat the persistent threat of water ingress, our team proposed the installation of a specialized waterproofing carpet, known as CSWC (Conclay Silica Waterproofing Carpet). This innovative solution involved integrating the CSWC above the PCC (Plain Cement Concrete) and prior to the casting of RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) during the upper foundation works. The CSWC, formulated with advanced silica technology, functions as a barrier against water penetration, effectively sealing off potential entry points for moisture.
The integration of the CSWC waterproofing solution yielded exceptional results, effectively halting water ingress and alleviating the client’s concerns regarding structural integrity and future maintenance. The building now stands fortified against the threat of water infiltration, safeguarding its longevity and habitability. By proactively addressing the issue of water ingress, our team provided the client with peace of mind and assurance of a resilient and durable construction.
